I’ve always been drawn to the moments that don’t necessarily ask to be photographed—the quiet ones, the unexpected ones, and the little pieces of life that can so easily pass by.
For me, photography is about more than creating a beautiful image. It’s about remembering how something felt.
I love photographing people when they’re simply being themselves: a laugh that wasn’t planned, a look shared between two people, the emotion of a first dance, or the small moments happening around the edges of a celebration. Those are often the photographs that become the most meaningful over time.
My work also takes me beyond people. I’m inspired by landscapes, architecture, travel, and street photography—the character of a place, the way light falls across a building, or a fleeting scene that exists for only a moment. I’m constantly looking for those little stories hiding in plain sight.
My style is natural, emotional, and occasionally a little moody. I’m drawn to authentic expressions, beautiful light, texture, and images that feel timeless without feeling overly polished. I want my photographs to feel like you were actually there.
Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a landscape, a city street, or an ordinary moment that suddenly feels extraordinary, I approach each image with the same goal: to create photographs that make you feel something.
I'm Joey, and this is how I see the world - one moment, one story, and one photograph at a time.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. Aaron Siskind
